Amanda Peeler

Amanda was led to physical therapy after she suffered an ankle injury while in high school that kept her from playing basketball for a year. Through her own recovery, she became interested in and knew she wanted to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in San Diego. While in San Diego, Amanda was active within the community; working in outpatient orthopedic facilities serving veterans, athletes, and post surgical patients.

Since graduating, Amanda has continued to grow as a therapist; earning her Manual Therapy Certification in 2013 and becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2018. Her passion for physical therapy led her to become an instructor at the University of St. Augustine teaching courses in orthopedics and anatomy. A native of Orange County, Amanda recently returned to the area to join the Envision Sport team.

When she isn’t working, you can find Amanda out hiking or surfing, volunteering with the Life Rolls on Foundation, or traveling & learning about different cultures. She also has a second degree black belt and hopes to return to martial arts.
