Emily Dunne

Emily was born and raised here in the Rancho Santa Margarita area. She participated in many sports growing up and was first introduced to physical therapy through her own injuries and found the profession to be very interesting. She graduated from Tesoro High school and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach. While at CSULB, she had the opportunity to complete an internship in cardiac rehab, which continued to grow her love for helping others. After completing her time at CSULB, she began to grow her experience in the physical therapy field. She started working at Envision Sport as an aide and volunteered at Saddleback Hospital in their inpatient physical therapy department. She went on to attend Azusa Pacific University, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
While completing her degree at Azusa, Emily trained in multiple settings, including outpatient pediatrics, acute rehabilitation at Hoag Hospital, and outpatient orthopedic. In addition, she had the opportunity to work as a teacher’s assistant for both Neuro Rehab and Neuro Anatomy, helping younger physical therapy students with their skills. She combines all of her experiences and years of learning in order to help patients return to the things they enjoy most in life.
When she is not treating, Emily enjoys snowboarding in Mammoth, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors.
