MEET THE TEAM
Lisa's interest in fitness and healthy eating began when she was 11 and bought herself a jump rope to “get in shape”. Fast forward to her first certification in Jackie Sorenson Aerobic Dance in her early twenties and, eventually, to multiple certifications through the YMCA, AFAA, Precision Cycling, and TurboKick. Lisa worked for 15 years in the “traditional” fitness arena teaching pretty much every type of class. She was also the Group Fitness Supervisor for a while and had the opportunity to recruit, train and hire new instructors. Her certifications expanded to include Personal Training and Fitness Instructor Trainer. She had a brief introduction to Stott Pilates during this time and was very intrigued; however, at that time Pilates was very expensive and inaccessible. Thankfully, Lisa had the opportunity to participate in the Post Rehab program at Envision (while it was South County PT) which got her hooked and led her to Amy Cady Training for her certification. She was certified in August, 2012, in the Balanced Body University curriculum for Reformer, Cadillac Reformer, and Exo Chair. After a few years off from teaching, she's really happy to be back at Envision with lots of familiar faces and many new ones as well. She truly enjoys guiding everyone on their journey to a better understanding of their body and how to keep it strong and healthy for life.
