From gait and balance issues, to joint replacements, vertigo, and even migraines, we’ve seen a wide variety of injuries over the last 15 years. Living in an active community, one of the most common things we see are sports related injuries like Adam who found our clinic after suffering a shoulder injury in Fall of 2018.
As the Director of a local non-profit, 4 the Fallen, whose main fundraising events are sports related (I.e. softball tournaments, golf tournaments, etc.), it was important to Adam to get back to swinging a bat and throwing a ball, let alone washing his back and lifting his kids.
The entire process took over a year, but with the help of physical therapy and surgery, Adam is back to everything he was doing before.
When asked what advice he would give to other patients who are about to embark on the physical therapy path, Adam stated, “Always follow the directions of your therapist no matter how much you don’t want to. Work through some of the pain as it is a natural part of the recovery.”
“I know that if I get hurt again, [Envision] will take care of me and my family.”
